I am living my life in love, with a desire to imagine the infinite possibilities for happiness, truth, and freedom.
I am an artist of life and use this human experience as my canvas to discover the beauty within my own divine self and that of others. I see magic in the world around me and learn from the fragments of its brokenness. I see my life as a grand voyage and seek the treasure of its lessons and abundance.
Why Midnight Picnic?
I am a romantic. I am a dreamer. I am a lover of life. I am an artist of attitude. A Midnight Picnic is my happy place. Imagine walking through the moonlit meadow, speckled with weeping willows, on a warm, clear night. The crickets are chirping, the owls are hooting, and the stars are sparkling brilliantly. You brush aside a curtain of willow branches, and arrive at a whimsical gathering of friends! They are eating delicious food from an abundant banquet table, a five piece band is playing beautiful music, people are dancing and laughing together under twinkle lights and vintage lanterns, and your heart is overflowing with love. The Midnight Picnic is a place of nourishment for mind, body, and spirit. It is the celebratory feast, to honor our lives and inspire us to keep living in a good way. We can enjoy healthy, wholesome food that tastes great. We can spend time with our friends, have fun, relax, and let loose. We can have satisfying jobs that compensate us with the money and resources we need. And we can bring awareness to the present moment, with gratitude and love. As a health coach, chef and event producer, I help create this Midnight Picnic in everything I do, and in every way I work with clients to improve their personal health and wellbeing.
Food is one of my favorite palettes to choose from.
I love to cook and prepare whole foods, reduce my reliance on processed and packaged "foods", optimize self sufficiency, improve my health, and tap into my body's wisdom. I believe that food is medicine, and everything we put into our bodies shapes who we are. As a health coach and personal chef, I am able to continue living the life I love while working with others to help them live theirs. I don't have all the answers, but I have a commitment to helping people find the answers they need, to achieve their own personal goals, feel happier, healthier, and more connected to the unique gift of their personal experience.
I use local, organic, and seasonal produce whenever possible. I incorporate medicinal herbs and superfoods into the food I create. I alchemize with love and good vibes.
I recognize a variety of pathways toward better health and wellness.
Each of us has a unique personality, body type, ancestry, and set of circumstances that guide our experience and mold us into the person we are. We each have our own set of struggles, goals, values, desires, and methods of pursuing the things we want for ourselves. Each of our bodies need different things at different times, and I advocate for listening to the body for guidance on how to eat and nourish oneself. When it comes to improving a person's health, I advocate for small steps that lead to lasting change.
I am always learning about the nature of things, about myself, about relationships, about how our society works, about spirituality, and how to take better care of myself. I know there is never just one way of doing things right, and that there is a plethora of nutrition information that can be challenging to sort through. Being a wellness coach allows me to support others through their own process of understanding what is right for their body and their life.
